Winger in St. Charles

Winger is an American hard rock band formed in New York City in 1987 by singer and bassist Kip Winger. The group’s melodic, guitar-led sound reached a wide audience through its self-titled debut and In the Heart of the Young, which produced songs including “Seventeen,” “Headed for a Heartbreak” and “Miles Away.” Winger opened for Scorpions during the Savage Amusement tour and later appeared on dates of Kiss’s Hot in the Shade tour. After reuniting in the early 2000s, the band resumed club, theatre and festival performances, including appearances at M3 Rock Festival.

Orianthi is an Australian guitarist, singer and songwriter from Adelaide who plays hard rock and pop rock. Her 2009 album Believe included “According to You,” and she appeared as lead guitarist in Michael Jackson’s concert-rehearsal film This Is It. Her later solo records include Heaven in This Hell and O. In 2009, she rehearsed as lead guitarist for Michael Jackson’s planned London residency. She joined Alice Cooper’s touring band in 2011 and spent several years performing with him before later touring in the joint project RSO with Richie Sambora.
