Wire Tickets & 2026–2027 Tour Dates

Wire are an English band formed in London in 1976 by Colin Newman, Graham Lewis, Bruce Gilbert and Robert Gotobed. Their terse art punk and post-punk took shape across the albums Pink Flag, Chairs Missing and 154, which include “12 X U,” “Outdoor Miner” and “Map Ref. 41°N 93°W.”

Performances at Notre Dame Hall in 1979 and the Electric Ballroom in 1980 supplied recordings for Document and Eyewitness, a live album that also documented the band’s use of performance art and reworked material. Wire resumed performing in 1985 and toured behind The Ideal Copy and A Bell Is a Cup later that decade. In 2013, the band curated the first DRILL festival in London, followed by editions in Seattle and Chicago.
