The Umbrellas are an American indie-pop band formed in San Francisco, playing jangling guitar pop rooted in the twee tradition. Their self-titled debut arrived in 2021, followed by Fairweather Friend in 2024; both albums were released by Slumberland Records. Their best-known songs include “She Buys Herself Flowers” and “Three Cheers!” In 2024, The Umbrellas performed at NYC Popfest as part of the live campaign for Fairweather Friend. The same year, their British club tour included shows in York and Glasgow.
