About Wizkid
Wizkid is a Nigerian singer and songwriter, born in Lagos in 1990, whose music draws on Afrobeats and afropop. His debut album, Superstar, featured “Holla at Your Boy”; later releases include “Ojuelegba,” “Essence” with Tems and the album Made in Lagos. He also appeared on Drake’s “One Dance.”
In 2017, Wizkid performed at Royal Albert Hall. He returned to London in 2021 for three concerts at The O2 on the Made in Lagos Tour, then played Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in 2023.
His festival appearances have included Wireless Festival and Afro Nation Portugal. In 2023, he headlined the Other Stage at Glastonbury Festival.
