Wolfgang Ambros Tickets & 2026–2027 Tour Dates

Wolfgang Ambros is an Austrian singer-songwriter, born in Vienna in 1952, whose rock and folk-rooted songs in Viennese dialect helped establish Austropop. He first became known through “Da Hofa” and went on to record enduring songs including “Schifoan,” “Zwickt’s mi” and “Es lebe der Zentralfriedhof.” He also created the Alpine stage work “Der Watzmann ruft” with Joesi Prokopetz and Manfred Tauchen.

In 1997, Wolfgang Ambros formed Austria 3 with Rainhard Fendrich and Georg Danzer for a benefit concert, and the trio subsequently toured together until 2006. He later developed the Ambros pur! concert format, presenting his catalogue in a small ensemble with keyboardist Günter Dzikowski and guitarist Roland Vogl.
