Working Men's Club & Ulrika Spacek in Birmingham

Working Men's Club are an English electronic post-punk band formed in Todmorden, West Yorkshire, in 2018. Their self-titled debut album established a sound driven by synthesizers, drum machines and guitar, while songs including “Valleys” and “Teeth” became early signatures. The band followed it with the album Fear Fear. Working Men's Club supported New Order at Heaton Park in 2021. The following year, they toured behind Fear Fear, playing venues including KOKO in London and SWG3 in Glasgow, and also performed at Glastonbury Festival.

Ulrika Spacek are a British rock band formed in Berlin by Rhys Edwards and Rhys Williams. Their music draws on psychedelic rock, shoegaze and krautrock repetition, heard on the albums The Album Paranoia, Modern English Decoration and Compact Trauma, as well as songs including “She's a Cult” and “Mimi Pretend.” The band’s early concert history was tied to KEN, the shared home, studio and gallery in Homerton where its members curated and played shows. Tours supporting the first two albums took their layered guitar arrangements through clubs and festivals in Britain and continental Europe; after a gap between records, the Compact Trauma period included a headline show at Village Underground in London.
