Artists
Wu-Tang Clan is an American hip-hop group formed in Staten Island, New York, in 1992. Their 1993 debut, Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers), introduced a raw, sample-heavy sound through tracks including “Protect Ya Neck” and “C.R.E.A.M.” The wider Wu-Tang catalogue includes GZA’s Liquid Swords and Raekwon’s Only Built 4 Cuban Linx..., solo albums closely tied to RZA’s production. At the 2004 Rock the Bells festival in San Bernardino, Wu-Tang Clan brought its full nine-member lineup together; the concert was Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s final performance with the group. In 2022, the group and Nas launched the N.Y. State of Mind Tour, which returned the following year and included De La Soul. In 2024, they began Wu-Tang Clan: The Saga Continues... The Las Vegas Residency at The Theater at Virgin Hotels. The group has travelled far beyond its home city to play England’s Glastonbury Festival and Australia’s Sydney Opera House.
Bone Thugs-N-Harmony is an American hip-hop group formed in Cleveland in 1991. Their rapid-fire verses and sung harmonies shaped tracks including “Thuggish Ruggish Bone,” “1st of tha Month” and “Tha Crossroads,” while E. 1999 Eternal and The Art of War became their best-known albums. Eazy-E signed the group to Ruthless Records and appeared on “Foe tha Love of $.” In 2012, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony performed E. 1999 Eternal in full at Rock the Bells. Nine years later, they faced Three 6 Mafia in a Verzuz concert at the Hollywood Palladium, turning the online battle format into a live performance built around both groups’ catalogues.
