Wucan in Düsseldorf

Wucan are a German rock band formed in Dresden in 2011, playing psychedelic hard rock shaped by folk melodies and progressive passages. Singer and multi-instrumentalist Francis Tobolsky leads the group, whose releases include the EP Vikings Funeral and the albums Sow the Wind, Reap the Storm and Heretic Tongues. Flute is central to tracks such as “Night to Fall” and “Wandersmann.” Wucan performed at the Crossroads Festival in Bonn in 2016, where the concert was filmed for WDR Rockpalast. The band later took its full electric lineup to Wacken Open Air in 2022.
