Xscape in Chicago

Xscape is an American R&B vocal group formed in Atlanta in 1992 by Kandi Burruss, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, LaTocha Scott and Tamika Scott. Signed to Jermaine Dupri’s So So Def label, the quartet became known for close vocal harmonies and songs including “Just Kickin’ It,” “Understanding,” “Who Can I Run To” and “My Little Secret,” drawn from the albums Hummin’ Comin’ at ’Cha, Off the Hook and Traces of My Lipstick. In 2017, the original quartet reunited for performances at the BET Awards and Essence Festival, followed later that year by The Great Xscape Tour featuring Monica and Tamar Braxton. Xscape and SWV then co-headlined the Queens of R&B Tour in 2024, joined by Mýa, Total and 702.
