Y&T in Petaluma

Y&T are an American hard-rock band formed in Oakland in 1974 under the name Yesterday & Today. Led by singer and guitarist Dave Meniketti, they adopted the shorter name in 1980 and became known for albums including Earthshaker, Black Tiger and Mean Streak, as well as songs such as “Forever,” “Rescue Me” and “Summertime Girls.” In 1984, Y&T performed at Monsters of Rock at Donington Park on a lineup headed by AC/DC and Van Halen. The live album Open Fire documented performances from that period, while the later concert release Live at the Mystic captured the band at the Mystic Theatre in Petaluma.
