The 2020 track “Haru wo Tsugeru” became the singer’s signature release, followed by the albums The Meaning of Life and Versus the Night. Anime themes brought further attention: “Oz” appeared in Ranking of Kings, “Shikisai” in SPY×FAMILY and “Slash” in Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury. yama toured Japan on the meaning of life TOUR 2021, then returned to the road in 2022 for the second live tour, Dancing in the haze.
