Artist
Hitsujibungaku is a Japanese alternative-rock trio formed in Tokyo in 2011. Their music draws on shoegaze guitar textures and melodic indie rock, heard across albums including POWERS, our hope and 12 hugs (like butterflies). Their best-known songs include “Hikaru Toki,” the opening theme for The Heike Story, and “more than words,” used in Jujutsu Kaisen. The 2023 ASIA TOUR “if i were an angel,” took the band beyond its domestic touring circuit for a run of headline dates. Hitsujibungaku followed it in 2024 with LIVE 2024 “III”, their first headline concert at Yokohama Arena. Japan accounts for the core of their concert history, while headline tours have also taken Hitsujibungaku to South Korea and Taiwan.
