Yasi Hofer in Brackenheim

Yasi Hofer is a German guitarist, singer and songwriter from Ulm who plays instrumental rock, blues rock and jazz-rock fusion. As a teenager, she performed onstage with Steve Vai after he encountered videos of her playing. Her catalogue includes the albums Yasi, Faith, Freedom and Between the Lines. In 2007, Yasi Hofer joined Steve Vai at his concert in Ulm, an appearance that became a central part of her early biography. She later opened for him and developed her own band-led concerts around electric-guitar instrumentals and songs she sings herself, extending a live connection that began with Steve Vai.
