Ying Yang Twins are an American hip-hop duo formed in Atlanta in 1996 by Kaine and D-Roc. Their Southern rap and crunk catalog includes “Whistle While You Twurk,” “Salt Shaker,” “Wait (The Whisper Song)” and “Shake,” as well as their appearance on Lil Jon & the East Side Boyz’s “Get Low.” The albums Me & My Brother and U.S.A. (United State of Atlanta) contain several of their best-known tracks. In 2022, the duo joined The Millennium Tour: Turned Up!, a multi-artist arena tour built around rap and R&B from the 2000s. They performed on the tour alongside Bow Wow, Mario, Keri Hilson and Lloyd.
Mike Jones is an American rapper from Houston, born in 1981 and associated with the city’s Southern hip-hop scene and Swishahouse label. He became known through “Still Tippin’,” recorded with Slim Thug and Paul Wall, and “Back Then,” both included on his 2005 album Who Is Mike Jones? At Astroworld Festival in 2019, he performed as part of the Houston All Stars presentation, joining Paul Wall and Slim Thug for “Still Tippin’.” In 2022, Bun B included him in the H-Town Takeover concert at NRG Stadium.
