Yoko Kanno Tickets & 2026–2027 Tour Dates

Yoko Kanno is a Japanese composer, arranger and pianist, born in Sendai in 1963, whose music moves through jazz, pop, orchestral writing and ambient sound. She is best known for anime scores including Cowboy Bebop, Macross Plus, The Vision of Escaflowne, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex and Wolf’s Rain, as well as pieces such as “Tank!” and “Inner Universe.”

In 2009, she brought singers and musicians associated with her soundtrack work to Saitama Super Arena for the large ensemble concert Cho-jiku Tanabata Sonic. A decade later, she conducted her suite Ray of Water at the National Celebration for the Enthronement of Emperor Naruhito, where Arashi performed its vocal movement in Tokyo.
