Yolanda Del Rio in Wichita

Yolanda Del Rio is a Mexican ranchera singer and actress, born in Hidalgo in 1955. She became known for emotionally direct songs including “La hija de nadie,” “Camas separadas” and “Una intrusa,” delivered in the traditional música mexicana style. Teatro Metropólitan in Mexico City hosted her concert marking five decades as a performer. Her stage repertoire is presented with mariachi accompaniment and includes “Se me olvidó otra vez,” written by Juan Gabriel.
