Yölintu is a Finnish band formed in 1992 that plays melodic iskelmä pop. Fronted by singer Simo Silmu, the group is known for songs including “Sitä saa mitä tilaa,” “Mahdunko maailmaas” and “Tositarkoituksella.” Since the 1990s, Yölintu has built its live career through dance pavilions and entertainment venues, performing as a full band led by Silmu. The group’s concert schedule has taken it well beyond its roots in Pori to towns throughout Finland.
