Your Old Droog in Toronto

Your Old Droog is an American rapper born in Ukraine and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He became known through the self-titled Your Old Droog EP, whose release prompted widespread speculation about the unidentified voice behind it. His catalogue includes the albums Packs, It Wasn’t Even Close, Jewelry and Dump YOD: Krutoy Edition, built around dense rhymes and sample-based boom-bap production. In 2014, he gave his first billed concert after the self-titled EP had circulated without a clear public identity. The performance connected the rapper publicly to the voice on the record and served as his live debut at Webster Hall.
