¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U w friends is a collaborative billing led by Japanese DJ Yousuke Yukimatsu, who grew up in eastern Osaka. His sets place techno alongside music from other genres. The 2022 release Midnight Is Comin’ was credited to ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U w/ friends and issued both as a continuous Yukimatsu mix and as individual tracks by Japanese experimental electronic artists; it includes techno, ambient and experimental music. Yousuke Yukimatsu began DJing in the mid-2000s, and five years later DJ Nobu invited him to perform at the Future Terror night in Tokyo. He later appeared at Berlin Atonal and presented parties under the Zone Unknown name.
