Yuji Nakada is a Japanese singer-songwriter and guitarist, known first as the vocalist and principal songwriter of the rock band Tsubakiya Shijuso. After the group disbanded, he began a solo career in 2011, recording kayōkyoku-rooted pop and rock on albums including école de romantisme, MY LITTLE IMPERIAL and PORTAS. The recurring Nakada Yuji no Utau Roman Kaido series established a solo-acoustic format alongside his tours with a backing band. In 2023 he returned to the Tsubakiya Shijuso catalogue for the one-night Tsubakiya Shijuso 20th Anniversary concert at Showa Women’s University Hitomi Memorial Hall.
