Yves Duteil in Cernay-la-Ville

Yves Duteil is a French singer-songwriter, born in Neuilly-sur-Seine in 1949, whose work belongs to the chanson tradition. His best-known songs include “Prendre un enfant,” “Le Petit Pont de bois” and “La Langue de chez nous,” marked by precise storytelling and acoustic melodies. He first performed at the Paris cabaret L’Échelle de Jacob in 1972. He later brought his repertoire to the Olympia, singing his own songs in guitar-led arrangements.
