Magokoro Brothers are a Japanese rock band formed in 1988 by vocalists and guitarists YO-KING and Hidetoshi Sakurai. Originally billed as THE Magokoro Brothers, they debuted with “Umi” in 1989 and adopted their present name in 1995. “Doka~n” was used in a professional-baseball segment on News Station and became a high-school baseball cheering song; their other releases include “Summer Nude,” “Haikei, John Lennon,” I Will Survive, Good Times and “Dear, Summer Friend.” A 2001 concert at Nippon Budokan preceded a pause in the band’s activity. Four years later, Magokoro Brothers announced their return during a show at SHIBUYA-AX.
