About Zizi Possi
Zizi Possi is a Brazilian singer born in São Paulo in 1956. She has recorded MPB, pop and bossa nova since her debut album, Flor do Mal, and is especially associated with “Asa Morena,” “A Paz” and the Italian-language album Per Amore.
The Per Amore stage show brought the album’s Italian repertoire to Brazilian theatres in the late 1990s under the direction of José Possi Neto. She later created a concert series at Tom Jazz in São Paulo, where invited singers and musicians joined her at different performances; recordings from it appeared as the live album and DVD Cantos e Contos.
