Zucchero in Stockholm

Zucchero is the stage name of Italian singer-songwriter Adelmo Fornaciari, born in 1955. His music draws on blues, rock, soul and pop, and his best-known recordings include “Senza una donna,” recorded as a duet with Paul Young, “Diamante” and “Baila (Sexy Thing).” His major albums include Blue’s and Oro Incenso & Birra. In 1990, Zucchero performed at the Kremlin, and the concerts were documented on Live at the Kremlin. He sang “Las Palabras de Amor” with Queen at the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert at Wembley Stadium in 1992, then presented Zu & Co in a guest-filled concert at the Royal Albert Hall in 2004. The Black Cat World Tour opened with an extended run at the Arena di Verona in 2016. Zucchero has performed at multiple editions of the Montreux Jazz Festival. He also took part in several Pavarotti & Friends benefit concerts organized by Luciano Pavarotti in Modena.
