The Weeks in Chicago

The Weeks are an American rock band formed in Florence, Mississippi, in 2006 and later based in Nashville. Their music draws on Southern rock, indie rock and garage rock; the album Dear Bo Jackson and songs including “Buttons” and “Brother in the Night” established their best-known sound, followed by records such as Easy and Two Moons. The Weeks opened for Kings of Leon on dates of the Mechanical Bull Tour, taking their songs into arenas in the United States and Europe. They have also mounted their own club and theatre tours and performed at festivals including Bonnaroo and Shaky Knees.
