Artist
257ers are a German rap duo from Essen, formed in 2006 and made up of Mike and Shneezin. Their music pairs comic, deliberately unruly lyrics with hip-hop and electronic party beats; they are known for the albums Boomshakkalakka and Mikrokosmos, and for songs including “Holz” and “Holland.” The Boomshakkalakka tour took 257ers through German clubs after the album’s release, followed by another run of dates for Mikrokosmos. They have also performed at Rock am Ring and Rock im Park.
