About 2CELLOS
2CELLOS were a Croatian cello duo formed in 2011 by Luka Šulić and Stjepan Hauser. They became known through their cello arrangement of Michael Jackson’s “Smooth Criminal” and went on to reinterpret rock and pop songs including AC/DC’s “Thunderstruck.” Their albums include 2Cellos, Celloverse and Score, the latter recorded with the London Symphony Orchestra.
Elton John invited the duo to support him on tour in 2011, beginning a long run of international performances. Their own Celloverse Tour and Score Tour took them through theatres and arenas, while the Dedicated World Tour was billed as their farewell tour in 2022.
Their concerts centred on amplified cellos and arrangements of familiar rock, pop and film music. They headlined London’s Royal Albert Hall and performed at the Sydney Opera House.
