40 Fingers in Nashville

40 Fingers are an Italian acoustic-guitar quartet formed in Trieste in 2017. They are known for fingerstyle ensemble arrangements of rock, pop and screen music, including Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody,” Toto’s “Africa” and Dire Straits’ “Sultans of Swing.” 40 Fingers have presented Guitar Rhapsody in theatres across Italy, then taken the program to venues elsewhere in Europe and the United States. The concerts combine their best-known arrangements with original pieces in a theatre-length set. Four acoustic guitarists perform as an ensemble, dividing melody, rhythm, bass lines and percussion across the instruments. The quartet also recorded an arrangement of “The Sound of Silence” with Andrea Bocelli.
