A.J. Croce in Seattle

A.J. Croce is an American singer-songwriter and pianist born in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, in 1971. The son of Jim Croce, he draws on blues, jazz, soul, rock and pop, and established his own catalogue through albums including his 1993 self-titled debut, That's Me in the Bar, Twelve Tales and Just Like Medicine. The Croce Plays Croce concert series places his own songs alongside his father’s work and music that shaped both writers. In 2023, he toured the production to mark 50 years since the release of Jim Croce’s Life and Times and I Got a Name, performing in theatres under the Croce Plays Croce banner.

Leo Kottke is an American acoustic guitarist and singer-songwriter, born in Athens, Georgia, in 1945. He is known for fingerstyle playing on six- and twelve-string guitars, particularly the 1969 album 6- and 12-String Guitar and its instrumental “Vaseline Machine Gun.” The 1973 live album My Feet Are Smiling was recorded at the Tyrone Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis. It documents his longstanding solo format: acoustic instrumentals, songs and spoken introductions. After releasing Clone in 2002, he also toured as an acoustic duo with Phish bassist Mike Gordon.
