Adam Ferrara is an American stand-up comedian, actor and television host born in Queens, New York, in 1966. He is known for playing Chief “Needles” Nelson in Rescue Me and co-hosting the US version of Top Gear; his screen credits also include The Job and Nurse Jackie.

Adam Ferrara has performed stand-up at Carnegie Hall and Radio City Music Hall, while his television appearances have included The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Late Show with David Letterman. Comedy Central presented his stand-up special Funny as Hell, and he later released the special Unconditional.
