About Adam Jacobs
Adam Jacobs is an American actor and singer best known for originating the title role in Disney’s Broadway production of Aladdin. His principal stage roles also include Marius in Les Misérables and Simba in The Lion King, while “Proud of Your Boy” and “A Whole New World” are closely associated with his performance as Aladdin.
Jacobs made his Broadway debut as Marius in the 2006 revival of Les Misérables and later appeared as Simba in The Lion King. He first played Aladdin in the musical’s 2011 Seattle premiere, continued in its Toronto engagement and opened the Broadway production in 2014 at the New Amsterdam Theatre.
