About Adult Mom
Adult Mom is an American indie-pop project led by songwriter Stevie Knipe, who began recording under the name while studying at SUNY Purchase. Intimate lo-fi songs gave way to fuller band arrangements across the albums Momentary Lapse of Happily, Soft Spots and Driver; “Survival” and “Full Screen” are among the project’s best-known tracks.
Adult Mom performed as a full band for an Audiotree Live session in Chicago, presenting the direct guitar-led format used on tour. The group later brought songs from Soft Spots to an NPR Tiny Desk Concert, another documented performance from its years on the North American club circuit.
