About Affinage

Affinage is a Russian band formed in St Petersburg in 2012. It plays noir chanson, indie rock and folk rock, using acoustic guitar, button accordion and trombone as central elements of its sound. Its catalogue includes the songs “Nravitsya,” “Sasha” and “New York,” and the albums “Russian Songs” and “Make the Sea.”

Affinage played its first concert at Baikonur club in 2012. The group subsequently toured clubs and concert halls around Russia, and its festival appearances included Wild Mint and Nashestvie.
