Artist
Alabama 3 are a British band formed in Brixton, London, in 1995. Their music draws on acid house, country, blues and gospel, a combination they dubbed “country acid house.” The group are best known for “Woke Up This Morning,” whose Chosen One Mix became the opening theme to The Sopranos, and for their debut album, Exile on Coldharbour Lane. Alabama 3 have performed at Glastonbury Festival and Beautiful Days during years of UK club, theatre and festival dates. In 2022, the band marked the debut album’s 25th anniversary with a tour built around full-band performances of Exile on Coldharbour Lane.
