About Alisa
Alisa is a Russian rock band formed in Leningrad in 1983. Frontman and principal songwriter Konstantin Kinchev joined soon afterward, shaping a hard-rock sound that also drew on new wave in the band’s early years. Alisa became known for albums including Energia, Blok Ada and Shestoy Lesnichiy, as well as songs such as “My Vmeste,” “Trassa E-95” and “Nebo Slavyan.”
Alisa performed at the Leningrad Rock Club festival in 1985, an important early appearance for the Kinchev-led lineup. In 1990, the band recorded concerts at the Small Sports Arena of Moscow’s Luzhniki complex; those performances formed the double live album Shabash.
