Alison Moyet in Stockton-on-Tees

Alison Moyet is an English singer-songwriter, born in 1961, known for her rich contralto and work across synth-pop, soul, blues and pop. She first recorded with Vince Clarke in Yazoo, whose songs included “Only You” and “Don’t Go,” before establishing a solo career with the album Alf and singles including “Love Resurrection,” “All Cried Out,” “Invisible” and “Is This Love?” In 1985, Alison Moyet performed at Live Aid at Wembley Stadium during the early years of her solo career. She reunited with Vince Clarke for Yazoo’s Reconnected Tour in 2008, then returned to her solo catalogue on The Minutes Tour in 2013 and the Other Tour in 2017.
