Ana Carolina in Belo Horizonte

Ana Carolina is a Brazilian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, born in Juiz de Fora in 1974. Her music draws on MPB, pop and rock, and she became known through songs including “Garganta,” “Quem de Nós Dois” and “É Isso Aí,” her duet with Seu Jorge. Her major albums include Ana Carolina, Estampado and Dois Quartos. In 2005, Ana Carolina and Seu Jorge recorded the collaborative concert Ana & Jorge at Tom Brasil in São Paulo, releasing it as a live album and DVD. She later documented the Dois Quartos repertoire for Multishow ao Vivo, then performed alone with guitar, piano and percussion on Ensaio de Cores, recorded at Citibank Hall in Rio de Janeiro.
