And One in Cologne

And One is a German synth-pop and EBM band formed in Berlin in 1989 by Steve Naghavi and Chris Ruiz. The group is known for forceful electronic rhythms, Naghavi’s lead vocals and songs including “Metalhammer,” “Deutschmaschine,” “Panzermensch” and “Military Fashion Show”; its catalogue also includes the albums Bodypop, Tanzomat and S.T.O.P. And One toured the Bodypop material in the mid-2000s, followed Tanzomat with the Tanzomat Fulltimeshow tour and later presented the Magnet album cycle on the Magnet Trilogie Tour. These tours established a concert history centered on European clubs and halls. Leipzig has hosted the band at Wave-Gotik-Treffen, while And One has also performed at M’era Luna in Hildesheim. Cologne’s Amphi Festival is another recurring event in its live history.
