Andrea Motis in Cartagena

Andrea Motis is a Spanish jazz singer, trumpeter and saxophonist, born in Barcelona in 1995. She began performing with the Sant Andreu Jazz Band under bassist and educator Joan Chamorro. Her recordings include Joan Chamorro Presents Andrea Motis, Feeling Good, Emotional Dance, Do Outro Lado do Azul and Loopholes. The 2013 concert album Live at Jamboree documents her work with the Joan Chamorro Quintet at Jamboree Jazz Club. The following year, Andrea Motis performed at Jazz in Marciac with Chamorro, pianist Ignasi Terraza, guitarist Josep Traver and drummer Esteve Pi, singing and playing trumpet and saxophone.
