Andreas Rebers in Gelsenkirchen

Andreas Rebers is a German cabaret performer, author and composer, born in Westerbrak in 1958. He is known for political and social satire delivered through monologues and self-written songs, including the stage programmes Amen, Ich helfe gern and Rein geschäftlich. He performed as a member of the Münchner Lach- und Schießgesellschaft before taking his solo programmes to cabaret theatres across the German-speaking world. At these shows, he moves between spoken routines and songs, accompanying himself on piano and accordion. He returns to theatres in Berlin and Vienna for solo performances.
