Anita Wilson is an American gospel and soul singer from East St. Louis, Illinois. She became known through the album Worship Soul, which includes “Speechless” and her interpretation of “Jesus Will,” and followed it with Vintage Worship, Sunday Song and Soul Sister.

Before recording as a solo artist, she worked as a backing vocalist for Hezekiah Walker, Marvin Sapp and Vanessa Bell Armstrong, then performed as a member of Donald Lawrence & Company. After Worship Soul, she began presenting her own repertoire at church and theatre concerts, following years onstage with Donald Lawrence.
