About Arctic Monkeys
Arctic Monkeys are an English rock band formed in Sheffield in 2002. Their sharp, guitar-led indie rock first reached a wide audience through “I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor” and the debut album Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not; later touchstones include “505,” “Do I Wanna Know?” and the albums AM and Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino.
Arctic Monkeys headlined Glastonbury Festival in 2007, then returned as headliners in 2013 and 2023. Between those appearances, the AM Tour took the band through major arenas, including Madison Square Garden in 2014.
Their early hometown history includes club shows at The Leadmill in Sheffield. At stadium scale, their 2023 UK tour included three nights at Emirates Stadium in London and two concerts at Hillsborough Park.
