Assemblage 23 in Karlsruhe

Assemblage 23 is an American electronic project created by vocalist, songwriter and producer Tom Shear in 1988. Its music draws on futurepop, EBM and synth-pop, and the project is known for albums including Failure, Defiance, Storm and Meta, as well as songs such as “Disappoint,” “Let the Wind Erase Me” and “The Noise Inside My Head.” Assemblage 23 has toured clubs across North America and Europe, presenting Shear’s songs in an electronic live-band format. The project has also performed at German alternative-music festivals, including Wave-Gotik-Treffen in Leipzig and M’era Luna near Hildesheim.
