Ayaka is a Japanese pop singer-songwriter born in Moriguchi in 1987. She debuted in 2006 with “I Believe” and is also known for “Mikazuki,” the album First Message, and “Winding Road,” recorded with Kobukuro. The First Message tour took her around Japan in 2007, followed by the Sing to the Sky tour in 2008. She gave her final solo concert before a career hiatus as an MTV Unplugged performance at Osaka-jō Hall in 2009, then returned to the road with The Beginning tour in 2012.
