Aziz Ibrahim in Stoke-on-Trent

Aziz Ibrahim is a British guitarist and songwriter from Manchester whose rock music draws on South Asian musical traditions. He is known for joining The Stone Roses during their final period, for his long collaboration with Ian Brown and for the solo album Lahore to Longsight. Aziz Ibrahim toured as a guitarist with Simply Red before joining The Stone Roses in 1996. He performed at the band’s final concert, at Reading Festival that year, and later became a touring and recording collaborator of Ian Brown.
