Artist
Backstreet Girls are a Norwegian hard-rock band formed in Oslo in 1984. Their music draws on boogie rock, punk and rock and roll, heard on albums including Mental Shakedown, Boogie Till You Puke and Party on Elm Street. The band marked its 30th anniversary in 2014 with a concert at Rockefeller Music Hall in Oslo, later issued as 30 Years of Rock’n’Roll. The performance documented the long-running partnership of guitarist Petter Baarli and vocalist Bjørn Müller.
