Belinda Carlisle is an American pop-rock singer, born in Los Angeles in 1958, who first became known as the lead vocalist of the Go-Go’s. The group recorded “Our Lips Are Sealed” and “We Got the Beat”; her solo catalogue includes “Mad About You,” “Heaven Is a Place on Earth,” “Circle in the Sand” and “Leave a Light On,” as well as the albums Heaven on Earth and Runaway Horses. The Runaway Horses Tour brought her to Birmingham’s NEC in 1990, where a concert was filmed and released as Runaway Live. In 2023 she took the Decades Tour through UK theatres, building its set around songs from across her solo career. She brought her solo set to Glastonbury in 2019 and has also performed at Rewind Festival.

Joan Osborne is an American singer-songwriter, born in Anchorage in 1962 and raised in Kentucky, whose music draws on rock, blues, soul and folk. She is best known for “One of Us” and the album Relish, which also includes “St. Teresa” and “Right Hand Man.” Her catalogue extends to soul interpretations, original roots-rock records and Songs of Bob Dylan. She joined the Lilith Fair tour in 1997, then toured as a vocalist with The Dead in 2003, performing songs associated with the Grateful Dead alongside members of the band. Her later theatre concerts have included performances devoted to Songs of Bob Dylan.
