Belphegor in Osnabrück

Belphegor is an Austrian blackened death metal band formed in Salzburg in 1991. Initially called Betrayer, the group adopted its present name in 1993 and became known through albums including The Last Supper, Lucifer Incestus, Pestapokalypse VI and Bondage Goat Zombie. Belphegor toured North America in 2009 on Kreator’s Hordes of Chaos tour, which also featured Exodus and Warbringer. Two years later, they joined Deicide’s God Is Dead – To Hell with God tour alongside Blackguard and Neuraxis. Farther afield, they have performed at Wacken Open Air in Germany and Brutal Assault in the Czech Republic.
