Berlin Comedian Harmonists in Wolfenbüttel

Berlin Comedian Harmonists are a German vocal sextet formed in Berlin in 1997, comprising five singers and a pianist. They perform the close-harmony repertoire of the original 1920s and 1930s ensemble, including “Mein kleiner grüner Kaktus” and “Wochenend und Sonnenschein.” The six performers first came together for the stage production “Veronika, der Lenz ist da – Die Comedian Harmonists” at the Komödie am Kurfürstendamm. They stayed together after the production and took this repertoire into theatres and concert halls, retaining the five-voice-and-piano format associated with the Comedian Harmonists.
