Berry Sakharof in Tel Aviv

Berry Sakharof is an Israeli rock singer, guitarist, songwriter and producer, born in Izmir in 1957. He first became known as a member of Minimal Compact and then through Fortisakharof, his partnership with Rami Fortis. His solo catalogue includes the albums Hakol O Klum, Simanim Shel Khulsha and Negiot, and songs such as “Kama Yossi” and “Yom Huledet.” In the 1980s, Berry Sakharof toured Europe with Minimal Compact while the band was based in Brussels. After the group split, he returned to Israel and performed with Rami Fortis as Fortisakharof before establishing his own full-band concert repertoire. Minimal Compact later reunited for concerts in Israel, bringing Berry Sakharof back to the stage with Samy Birnbach and Malka Spigel.
